About Us
NorthWest Fire Protection Association was created in 1976. It consists of directors from all regions of our fire service area. We are stationed and manned in Arrowwood AB. Our service area is approximately 330 square miles.

Our Equipment
Below are a couple of pictures and a description of the equipment we use to get the job done!

Our main Pump is a 1997 International 4 door chasis,seats 6 Firefighters, 4 seats have Breathing Apparatus in the seats,2 4500psi cascade air system, 300HP, 4000lpm pump.

This is a 1990 Chev Top Kick, 625 gal/min front mount pump used for a tanker/pumper.

This is a 1993 GMC 3/4 ton extended cab that was donated by Transalta, and outfitted by the Arrowwood and Mossleigh Lions club. It has an 11HP motor and a 200Gal aluminum tank.

Our latest addition to the fire hall is a 2000 Ford Exursion Purchased by the Mossleigh Lions Club, Northwest Fire Department is outfitting it. This response unit carries all of our medical equipment and responds to all medical calls including Motor Vehicle Accidents.
